AGROBUILA!

Explore the rich agricultural heritage of Buila, where local farmers cultivate nutritious crops that sustain our community and promote food security.

PRODER BUILA is an agricultural cooperative in the province of Kongo Central/DRC, in the territory of Songololo between the sectors of Buila and Nsinda, with the goal of ensuring the improvement of the social lives of the inhabitants of the sectors and surrounding communities.

The main objective is to work in collaboration with anyone who wants to join the cooperative in a win-win spirit (50% – 50%).

The collaboration will be ensured by the signing of a contract between the farmer and the cooperative, upon which all the modalities of the cooperation will be clarified.

The strategy for implementing this deal is that the cooperative will provide plowed land ready for exploitation and seeds to fulfill the farmer’s vision, in addition to all the logistics necessary for the proper functioning of agricultural activities.

Finally, free accommodation and transportation are provided for those who want to be interned for a specific time to carry out their projects.

The Contract

The contract is simple and requires you to complete the online form and agree to the cooperative’s terms and conditions.

The Contract Procedure

  • Sign a two-year cultivation contract, which cannot be renewed except in special cases.
  • The grower proposes the products to be grown; we verify whether it is profitable, then we approve and finance the operations.
  • It is the grower’s duty to monitor the work during the growth of the cultivated materials. If they are unable to ensure this, they will receive an initial warning to comply, but if they still fail to comply, a penalty will be imposed.
  • Our experts will monitor the work completed weekly to ensure success.
  • The farmer is not allowed to sell the products grown alone; the sale will be made through a competition between the cooperative and the farmer via banking or money transfer through a transfer agency for transparency that will ensure a fair share.
  • The share is based on 50% each, but 5% will be allocated to the landowners for the land rights; therefore, the net amount to be paid is 45% for each party.
  • After the harvest, if the farmer wishes to continue with the cooperative, he must renew the contract following the same procedure as before for a period of two years.
